Having been raised in the midwest, I have an inherent love for the changing of the seasons, especially Fall and Spring. Nowadays, the only palpable signals of autumn are temperatures plummeting into the 80’s. It’s all relative, I guess. Not quite boots and down coat weather, but I am wearing a sweater in the evenings. :))
This past week was a pivotal, epiphanous week for me, and I am humbled by the forces of life and goodness at work. So as not to lose the magnitude of my lessons, I have been stilled by a raging flu and, of all things, a zinger of a spider bite. All while I was once again engaging in the annual debate of whether “to do” or “not do” a flu shot. I have always erred on the “not do” side, but this year I don’t have to worry about it because I now have natural anitbodies working internally.
With blessings and magic afoot, and a re-awakening of my creative energies, I am joyously setting off on new paths and projects. Two chemos to go, and I am back to a more normal life and schedule. Many blessings, and much love to my beloved Blue Monkey for helping to show me the way.
And finally, I major shout out to David, who just passed the LA Bar….WOOOOHOOOO!!!
