I just had to share this image of one of the bands performing at the Ride Festival in Telluride. Thanks to Mac for his stellar photography, btw. Telluride is a mecca for musical festivals every summer, and we were thrilled to be a part of this one. Kudos to our techs, because the headliner (David Byrne) was still raving about the sound at his next tour stop in Utah.
For me, it was a bit of a flashback. Not since the ’70’s have I been flashed the peace sign, nor seen so much tie-dye in one place. After the horror precipitated by the unmitigated greed and corruption of the last decade, a little more peace and love was a welcome sight. Swing, pendulum, swing!
