Springtime in the rockies could also be called PERFECTION. The sky is azure blue, the air is crisp and clean, the wild life is abundant and active, and the wild flowers are a frenzy of chaotic color.
This view is from one of our decks…and does not begin to capture the magical awareness I feel when I am there. If you look really closely, you can see a young deer muching on green grass at the edge of the far tree line.
H had kidnapped me on this short trip home to Colorado…the first trip I have made since the Age of Darkness had descended upon me late last summer. What an amay-zing way to re-acquaint myself with the world and all that is good and joyful.
The trip was bittersweet, however, because it may have been the last quality time I get to spend in that house before it is sold. The good news is that the market is finally coming back and the balance has shifted ever so slightly in favor of sellers. The bad news is exactly that as well. So, with heavy hearts and momentary flashes filled with regret, we are putting our country sanctuary on the market.
I have learned, or should I say I am learning, how to trust the universe and believe in my heart and its direction. Whatever the next chapter will be, I am ready to embrace it with love and light and an awareness never before validated.
BTW, did I mention that it is 109 degrees in Phx today? Welcome home to the infernal inferno!
