And then there was none…

Okay, so enough whining about the hair, I know, but last night I took the final step in the loss of hair saga.  With the help of my husband, I shaved the last ugly bits left on my head.  I now understand why partially bald men opt to go all the way with the bald look.  The inbetween look is just not attractive, on men or women. Over half of my original hair was gone, so what was left was a very sparse, mostly grey, quarter inch of peach fuzz. Interesting that only the grey survived.  And not only did it survive, it grew, wouldn’t ya know!  I actually had to trim it last week with the #2 blade, hoping against hope that somehow the fuzz would fill in to look like it did when I performed the original buzz cut, which look I was just getting used to. Not so much. The sensations of being totally bald are yet again new and unfamiliar.  H has told me a dozen times already how much he LOVES the look, and how cute I am.  Cute is not a word I would use to describe how I look (or feel), but it doesn’t hurt to hear it from your loving husband, as often as possible. Gotta love unconditional love!  So to celebrate, I am going to go out to lunch with Bonnie at a fave Mex restaurant in Cave Creek.  Maybe even have a Marguerita?!
